MONTEJO DE SAN MIGUEL
The house is located in a small village Montejo de San Miguel (provincial prize for heritage conservation), containing several 18th century stone buildings. The village is located in Valle de Tobalina (Las Merindades), within the Parque Natural de Montes Obarenes (protected nature environment). A location where the charm of tradition joins the beauty of nature. We are surrounded with mountains, beside the river Ebro, 3 km away from the medieval city Frías and 20 km away from Oña. Culture is also present in this charming place where you can admire both an Ethnographic Museum and an Agricultural Machine Museum.
A 3 km is the medieval town of Frías. Walled and its hanging houses, is dominated by the castle which is perched on a rocky rapid. The medieval bridge Frias on the Ebro, has a tower in the center.More information, click here
